Terraria is one of the games everybody should try once in their life even if the art-style seem off-putting. The Boss-fights are just to good, especially the ones added by the whole ton of mods that ether add new bosses, rework old ones or add new content like a tracker for bosses to the game. But honestly the best experience you will get is with mods because even though the game is great, it lacks content after the Moonlord which is fixed by mods like calamity.
RDR2 is similar to the other on this list because of the immersion, world-building and character-depth. Even though I am only inside of chapter 3, the variety of quests, characters/ types of npcs and their depth is just unmatched, except for BG3. This is one of the only games where i find myself not using fast-travel, because everything is so beautiful and so many things are happening when traveling through the world, which even lead to whole quest-lines.
Probably the best Game ever made, the widely different outcomes, paths and possibilities inside of quest, conversations and builds are just amazing. The Character are also just so good written and well thought out. And the mod-support gives this game, another huge aspect to explore and replay, even if you replayed the game many times. The view-angle might seem very off putting, even for me at the beginning, but it makes so much sense and doesn’t make the game worse in any way. Because this view, in my opinion, makes the exploring, fight and everything in general better and easier. 100/10, loved it the first time I played it and still do.
This games was one of the reasons I bought my PC, I waited so long to play this game, it is just a very special game for me. And it is so nice to see that they finally made the game stable and run better on most machines, so that much more people could experience this wonder of a game. Even though they didn’t keep many promises for the game, this game is a masterpiece visually and world-building wise. If I could wipe my mind once, I would do it for this game.
Elden Ring is a very noob-friendly soulsborn game, so it was perfect for me as a very bad player to experience this genre of games the first time. When I was at vacation in the middle of my Elden-Ring-time I couldn’t wait to fight again against Radagon, which is also 100% my most beloved/ favourite boss. The DLC also in my opinion was great, it just made the Elden-Ring experience round and introduced great world-building, weapons and bosses.
